If you thought everybody in Canada was all nice and sweet, and said “Sorry” and “Thank You” all the time, you’re in for a surprise. This incident takes us to Coquitlam in Canada. Rob Supeene is a proud Harley-Davidson owner. Seriously, are there even any who aren’t proud?! Supreene owns a 2013 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide. He has had it modified. And Supreene is the first person to admit his is not a particularly neighbor-friendly bike. He knows it makes more than it’s fair share of noise.
“I don’t crack the throttle. I don’t open it up. I literally push it off the driveway and down the alley,” said Supeene.
But, all that concern didn’t get him much respect from one of his neighbors. Supreene had recently shifted to a new neighborhood. He has to leave at 6 in the morning for his work. Only a week after shifting in, he got one of the worst homecoming presents a Harley owner can get. Some a$$hole had scratched his fuel tank, slashed the seat, and left a note on the bike. The note read:
“IF THIS WAKES ME UP EARLY MORNING AGAIN IT WILL GET MUCH WORSE”.
As if, this wasn’t enough vandalism already, this a$$hole struck again. He threw some kind of toxic material on the bike and the driveway. It caused the paint to literally strip off from parts of the bike. Luckily, Supeene acted smartly after the first instance of vandalism itself. He had very cleverly hid a surveillance camera on the stairs leading up to his porch.
The vandal was caught on tape. One of the other neighbors, Ross James, expressed his dissent saying it’s terrible on the vandal’s part.
Here’s news coverage of the incident (sorry, no audio).
