Motorcycle clubs have been claimed to have caused chaos across the city of Auckland after brawling in the streets after which committing a violent assault in a hospital where they were taken for treatments. The police are looking for three men, all members of the Hells Angels motorcycle club, Anthony Chown 27, Murray Matthews 28 and Mua Fa’Anunu 30 in relation to assault.
The fight initially broke out between Hells Angels and King Cobra biker clubs on the Gore Street which is known for its strip clubs at around 3:20 am. A lot of people were injured and hence taken to the Auckland City Hospital.
However, the fighting did break out again in the accident and emergency ward and the security guard who tried to stop the fight was brutally assaulted by the members in the process.
The police have issued warrants against all of them and are asking the civilians to contact them immediately if they happen to see anyone. The hospital did end up having to increase the security but is now back to normal working ways. The police have made it clear that they will not tolerate this sort of behavior and will be continuously checking for the people involved.
